6 Signs You’ll Fail at AI/ML
I promise this video isn’t as mean as it sounds — but it is a bit more…direct… than some of my videos.
There’s a pep talk at the end, though — don’t worry :P

I’m Starting a Business, and It’s Hard
Actually, I kind of already did… on accident.
When I started YouTube, I knew that it would have a business component if things went well — managing sponsors, paying editors, that kind of thing.
But as the channel has grown, and I’ve learned more, I realized that I had seriously underestimated what would be required to do this thing right.
So, last week I filed the papers to make everything official, and this week I own Gratitude Driven LLC.
Now I can open a business bank account. Which is important, because I also have new tax obligations. These tax obligations are confusing — so I booked some time with an accountant. I will also need to learn about bookkeeping. Apparently I need a business license? And since I sell merch I need a sales license…Oh, and I should probably have insurance, so I needed to reach out to a broker about that…
I’m also renting and setting up a studio space, which was a ton of work, but I think will be very worth it. I bought a real camera, and lenses, and I have no idea how to use them…

(Btw, if you ever feel frustrated with a sponsored bit or ads, I just want to mention that so far my profit from hundreds of hours of work on the YT channel and newsletter has been…$0. Everything has been reinvested. 🫠)

It’s a lot. It has felt overwhelming at times. I’ve been trying to remind myself of this quote:
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
I believe that this effort will be worth it, but for now, I’m just taking each day as it comes and learning as I go. Because really, even if the channel completely flops, I have learned SO MUCH that I don’t know I ever would have learned without all this.
Wish me luck. 😂
