Stop Follow-Along Tutorials—Build Real AI/ML Projects Instead

I’m really excited about this week’s video! It’s all about building real AI/ML projects for your portfolio. I break down four example projects that I’ve either built personally, or were created by my mentees. No ChatGPT or follow along projects here. 😀

What Would Happen If You Were 100% Consistent?

If you’re even vaguely interested in the personal growth space, you probably know the components of an “ideal” daily routine: Some combination of mindfulness, movement, time outside, healthy eating, etc.

Each individual piece is pretty simple, and for most of us, relatively easy to implement — at least for a week or two. The challenge comes from being consistent over the long haul.

I’ve noticed this in myself: For example, I’m fairly good about meditating every day, but when I get busy and stressed, I tend to skip it (which is exactly when it’s most important NOT to skip it…)

Then, once you skip the habit a few times, you’ve essentially made a new habit, which is the habit of not doing the thing.

So, I’m trying an experiment.

For 30 days (at least, I may go to 100), I’m going to be 100% adherent to a simple set of behaviors every day:

  • Meditate

  • Workout

  • Take my vitamins

  • Go outside

  • Eat “on plan” (healthy, right macros)

  • Do some kind of movement in the evening

  • Stretch before bed

  • Do something social: Text a friend, get coffee with someone, go out of my way to do something fun with my husband, etc.

I had ChatGPT make a little checklist calendar starting this Monday, which I printed out just to get the little dopamine hit from checking the boxes.

I plan to make a YouTube video about the experience on my mindset channel, so make sure you’re subscribed for the updates there. My goal is to figure out which of these habits actually matter, and what is worth being consistent with vs. more performative. Very curious to see what happens, especially when I’m out of town or my schedule gets crazy…

Wish me luck. 😅
