The cross-functional nature of the job also builds a broad skill set that can open doors to careers in entrepreneurship, product management, software development, or many other potential trajectories in the future.

For me, hard work is also a way of honoring my opportunities. I feel incredibly fortunate for my circumstances—where and when I was born, my supportive parents, my health —and coasting through life would feel like disrespecting those without the same privileges. While others might view leisure as the ultimate goal, I find it most rewarding after the contrast of effort.

Pain is inevitable in life. I prefer the struggle of growth to the regret of missed opportunities. Learning new skills not only keeps me sharp but builds resilience for future challenges, giving me confidence to adapt to life’s uncertainties and alleviating anxiety about the unknown.

It is very important to me that in the limited amount of time I have on this Earth, that I try as hard as I can in every way that is important to me. This quote sums it up perfectly:
